Helping people accept and express themselves is the most important part of my job. I sit with people in their pain and their shame. We all have brokenness, which makes each of us special. I get the privilege of sitting with people, hearing their story and earning their trust. Collaboratively, we integrate the different pieces of who they are so they can feel whole. That’s what I love.

I work with adolescents through adults on issues including anxiety, depression, trauma, addiction, life transitions, and more.

I spent a decade in the addiction field before becoming a mental health therapist. I have worked with adolescents in outpatient addiction programming, conducted substance use evaluations and have also worked with adults in a pain management clinic setting. I presently see people individually to address the concerns they bring to therapy. I also work with therapists in a supervisory role.

I am a Sioux Falls native and have strong ties to the community and to community resources. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor – Mental Health, Licensed Addiction Counselor, Qualified Mental Health Professional, National Certified Counselor and a South Dakota approved supervisor. I received my undergraduate degree from the University of South Dakota in Psychology and Alcohol and Drug Studies. I also received my master’s degree from USD in Counseling & Psychology in Education, with an emphasis in clinical mental health counseling.
